Get Claude
TradeCraft runs inside Claude AI

Create a Claude account

TradeCraft runs inside Claude — an AI assistant made by Anthropic. Create an account if you don't have one.

Go to claude.ai →

You'll need Claude Pro ($20/month) — TradeCraft uses features that aren't available on the free plan. You can sign up for Pro after creating your account.

Download the Claude desktop app

TradeCraft uses Claude's desktop app (not the website). Download it for your computer:

Available for Windows and Mac. Install it like any other app.

Already have Claude? Make sure you're using the desktop app, not just the website. TradeCraft needs features only available in the desktop version.

Open Claude and sign in

Launch the Claude app and sign in with your account. You should see the main chat screen.

Two things to add, then you're done

Download TradeCraft

Download the skill file below. This is a small instruction file that gives Claude deep knowledge of your trade — pricing, materials, margins, compliance. It connects to our server where all the intelligence lives.

Download Skill File

Save it somewhere easy to find (Downloads folder or Desktop).

Need an account first? Head to our signup page and create your account (email, trade, and password). You'll need to be signed in for step 6 — that's how Claude knows whose data to connect to.

Add the skill to Claude

In the Claude desktop app:

Click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner.

Select "Skills" from the sidebar, then click "Add Skill".

Upload the TradeCraft .zip file you downloaded.

Nearly there! One more thing — you need to connect your data. This is the step most people forget.

Connect your data

This step links Claude to your TradeCraft account using a one-tap consent screen. The connector URL is the same for every TradeCraft user — it's the consent step that ties it to your account.

Click "Customize" in the bottom-left corner of the sidebar.

Scroll to "Connectors" and click "Add custom connector".

Paste this URL and click "Add":

Claude opens a TradeCraft consent screen. Sign in with your TradeCraft email and password if it asks, then click "Allow".

That's it! Start a new chat. TradeCraft's setup wizard will ask your name, trade, and rates — takes about 2 minutes. After that, you're ready to quote.
Want to disconnect later? Open your account page — every active connection is listed there with a Revoke button.

Open a new chat and type something like:

Quote Sarah Jones for a full re-roof. Semi-detached house, about 55 square metres, concrete tiles.
