From zero to quoting in five steps. No technical knowledge needed.
TradeCraft runs inside Claude — an AI assistant made by Anthropic. If you don't have an account yet, create one for free.
Sign up with your email address or Google account. The free plan works fine to get started.
TradeCraft uses Claude's desktop app (not the website). Download it for your computer:
Available for Windows and Mac. Install it like any other app — double-click the file and follow the prompts.
Launch the Claude app. Sign in with the account you created in step 1.
You should see the main chat screen. That's all you need for now — we'll come back to this in a moment.
Head back to our download page and fill in your email and trade type. You'll get a .zip file.
Save it somewhere easy to find (like your Downloads folder or Desktop).
In the Claude desktop app:
a. Click the menu icon (three lines) in the top-left corner.
b. Select "Projects" from the sidebar, then click "New Project".
c. Name your project "TradeCraft" (or whatever you like).
d. Click the paperclip icon or drag the TradeCraft .zip file into the project knowledge area.
e. Claude will process the file. When it's done, start a new chat inside the TradeCraft project.
Type something like:
"Quote Sarah Jones for a full re-roof. Semi-detached house, about 55 square metres, concrete tiles."
TradeCraft will build a professional quote with three pricing options. Adjust the job description for your trade — it works for roofers, plumbers, cleaners, manufacturers, and 19 more trades.
